In secondary schools, we offer an insightful look into the animals explaining how the world may appear to them. How their senses differ from ours and how their body’s work. We learn about their lifestyles how they hunt and reproduce.
Students will observe demonstrations of animals being fed, the extending fangs of a tarantula, a scorpion glowing under UV light and much more.
Most of all for many students the opportunity to overcome irrational fears, they will get to touch and hold many of the creatures.
How does it work?
Ideally 40 mins but 1 hour or more is ideal with a class of around 30 students.
