This is a type of fig tree, at the foot of it is Joe from Tullow Co. Carlow a professional tree climber and intrepid traveller. The tree is over 100ft tall, very impressive!
Huge vines twisting round a tree which
give a corkscrew effect.
This is a tree which is used as an observation
tower, it is not a cliimb for the faint hearted.
This was a really lucky shot of a Sun Bear, they are very shy creatures and hard to spot during the day as they are nocturnal.

An orangutan in the Danum Valley, it took hours of waiting for him to come down from his tree to get this shot. When he saw me he started throwing sticks at me.
